The mission of the Lehigh Valley AAU Basketball Association is to promote amateur basketball in the Lehigh Valley; to foster an environment of sportsmanship among players, coaches, parents and others involved in basketball; to provide opportunities for amateur basketball players to engage in challenging competition and to help players in developing their physical and fundamental basketball skills.

The Lehigh Valley Basketball Assn. consists of the L.V. Stars, L.V. Hawks, L.V. Smurfs, and the L.V. Swoosh. The Association is NOT associated with any other AAU Club or Teams.

The Lehigh Valley Girls AAU

The age classifications for girls are: 9 & Under, 10& Under, 11 & Under, 12 & Under, 13 & Under, 14 & Under, 15 & Under, 16 & Under, 17 & Under and 18 & Under. The athletes age class is determined by her age on January 1, of that particular year.

The Lehigh Valley AAU is intended for the serious basketball player. Participants should have played in competition before enrolling in the organization. Our teams will participate in tournaments against some of the best competition on the East coast. Our players will be seen by many college coaches, affording them the opportunity to be placed on prospect lists which in turn could lead to college scholarship offers.

The Lehigh Valley AAU also participates in the prestigious Eastern Girls Basketball Association. This is an elite and select group of AAU clubs in which membership is required. Participation in this Association guarantees us spots in tournaments such as US Junior Nationals, etc.
